Delete your account and data

You can delete your Bibalove account at any time, either in the app or by emailing us. This page explains both ways, what gets deleted, and how long it takes.

Bibalove is developed by IP LEBEDEV (Bibazavr), Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Option 1: Delete in the app (immediate)

This works in the iOS, Android and web versions.

1. Open Bibalove and sign in to the account you want to delete.
2. Go to the Us tab and open Account.
3. Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. For security, an email account asks for your password, and a Google or Apple account asks you to sign in with that provider again.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on all your devices.

Option 2: Ask us by email

If you can't open the app, for example because you lost your phone:

1. Email hello@bibazavr.fyi from the email address you use for Bibalove, with the subject "Delete my Bibalove account".
2. Tell us how you sign in (email and password, Google, or Apple). If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", include the relay address it shows in your Apple ID settings.
3. We may reply to confirm the request comes from the account owner.

We delete the account and confirm by email within 30 days of your request, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in record: email address, name from Google or Apple, and the link to your sign-in provider.
• All your linked-device records.
• Every suggestion you submitted for the date-idea and compliment catalogues.
• Your membership in your couple.
• If you're the last member of your couple (you were never paired, or your partner already deleted their account), the whole couple space is deleted too: compliments, letters, reminders and dates, saved items, and the invite code.

What may be kept

• Content shared with a partner who still uses Bibalove. Everything in a couple space belongs to both of you, so if your partner keeps their account, they keep access to it. That includes compliments and letters you wrote and the name the space shows for you. It is deleted when your partner deletes their account.
• Usage analytics. Google Analytics events never contain your content, name or email, and are deleted automatically within 14 months.
• Accepted suggestions. If we accepted one of your suggestions, it stays in the shared catalogue without your name or account attached.
• Our email correspondence about your request, and anything else we are legally required to keep.
